Fast-rising international dancehall artiste Black Mattic said he's very pleased with the increased support his single Superstar has received from several local radio stations.

Since its release in March, Superstar, produced by Brooklyn-based Yo Dash Productions, has been in strong rotation on premier radio stations Irie FM and Zip 103 FM. It has also struck a positive chord with partygoers, who attend the more prominent nightclubs in urban areas.

"It is of great pleasure to me that the single is generating this amount of buzz in such short period. I want to extend many thanks to all those who are showing me love and support for this single, which means so much to me personally," said the 24-year-old Black Mattic.

Superstar, according to the former Norman Manley High School student, is the feature track from his soon-to-be-released album Diamond for Life Project. The album, which will consist of 15 tracks, is being produced by the New York-based artiste's independent label Official Hitz Entertainment and Yo Dash Productions.

The deejay also said that a video for the single is forthcoming and the public must also look out for his latest mix tape titled Kingston 11, which features a graphic single Keep It Real.

"I will be doing a video for the single very shortly because the buzz is rising fast around it. I also have a mix tape coming out soon so the public can look out for that," he said.
