Police in St Catherine are now investigating the circumstances under which the body of a resident was found in the farming community of Bartons, St Catherine, yesterday.

Investigators have identified it as that of Kavar Watson, 25-year-old, of Bartons district, St Catherine.

Reports are that on Monday Watson left his home to visit a neighbouring community.

After not returning home, the matter was reported to the police and family members went in search of him. His body was later found.

Up to late yesterday, investigators were still combing the area for evidence.
