A letter for a powerful woman Heather Little-White

Dear Pastor,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my dear friend Heather Little-White. I met her several years ago on one of my visits home, what a beautiful person. I feel privileged to have met her. Condolences to her dear widower Peter and the entire family. I share one of her last correspondence to me with you and your wide listenership. R.I.P., my friend.

"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." July 6, 2012 marks thirteen years since my life-changing experience and the fact that I am alive is so much for one to be thankful. Mother passed almost three months ago at age 92 and I am strengthened by her last words that "no matter what, everything will be all right". It is encouraging to know that though you may have regrets about yesterday and fears about tomorrow, those regrets and fears should be viewed in the "now". I am thankful for the challenges which may have crossed my path and taught me tolerance, self-control and some other virtues I may not have known. In this consciousness, I give thanks for your continued demonstration of your unconditional love and support, and it is my hope that as you continue to give, you will receive your own blessings and enrichment.

disabled community

I continue to fulfill my Divine purpose through selfless love as I interface in offering self-improvement solutions for our young people, the elderly and in particular the disabled community, learning lessons from their own experiences."

"A deeply moving experience was to have met Joshua Brown who lost his hands and feet in a motor vehicle accident three years ago. Though he was at the stop light begging for help to start a car wash, his unbroken spirit and charming smile were inspiring. Commendations to attorney-at-law Churchill Neita who was so moved by his spirit and presented him with $150,000.00 through funds raised from friends to get his car wash started. We have to help others to let their light shine! Love and thanks! Heather"

Dear J.R.,

I thank you for sharing this letter from the late Heather Little White. What a powerful woman she was! She gave her life to helping the privileged and the underprivileged. I am glad I had the honour of knowing her personally.

My prayers are with her widower and other relatives. May the Lord be pleased to strengthen and sustain them.
