Police on wounding rap offered bail

A police officer accused of using his service pistol to wound another man in his head following a dispute was offered bail in the sum of $200,000 in The Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

Charged with unlawful wounding is Odeon Brown, who is to return to court on June 25 for trial.

Brown was ordered to surrender his travel documents and a stop order was also ordered by the court.

According to the prosecution, on the day of the incident, Brown went to Bull Bay, St Andrew, where the complainant was.

The court heard that an argument developed between the two which led to the complainantbeing allegedly hit in his head with a firearm by the accused.
