'I'm tired of the lies!' - Woman seeks polygraph for untruthful spouse
SHELDON WILLIAMS, STAFF REPORTER

A 30-year-old woman who distrusts her boyfriend because of his inconsistent responses whenever she asks him questions, wants him to be subjected to a polygraph test to prove whether or not he has lying lips.

Kimone* told THE WEEKEND STAR that they have been together for little over a year and their relationship was going well until recently when her boyfriend, 24, became consistently untruthful.

"When I ask my boyfriend questions, he's not giving me a straight answer. I ask him many questions. For instance, I ask him where he's going and he would say somewhere only to find out that he's somewhere else, I also ask him if he has a girlfriend and he said no," Kimone admitted.

Interestingly, despite his questionable answers, Kimone said her boyfriend still shows interest in their relationship. "I asked him if he wants us to stop living together or if he wants us to break up but he said no," she added.

She says the lies have become so commonplace so much, so that the only place he visits that she can confirm is to his mother's house.

"If he's going to his mother, he wouldn't tell a lie because he knows that mi ago want to talk to her but whenever he goes elsewhere, he would lie," she claimed. "Whenever him leave, him want to stay more than the expected time."

She also told THE WEEKEND STAR that whenever they are leaving their home, her boyfriend always suggests that she departs ahead of him.

She suspects that he is hiding something and wants the additional time to 'fool around' with his ex-girlfriend who lives in the same community.

However, her boyfriend has assured her on multiple occasions that he is no longer involved with his former girlfriend but she believes the lie-detector test result is the only thing that will satisfy her.

Meanwhile, David* told THE WEEKEND STAR that he was averse to participating in the lie-detector test at first but "Mi will do it now, fi mek she feel better."

"Women on a whole never believe a man still but mi no really watch that cause me know mi a tell her the truth. Me no seh me won't tell her a lie some time but not every time cause mi cyaah get up everyday a tell lie and it naw benefit me."

At the same time, he questioned the validity of a polygraph test.

"It no make no sense. None a this no call fah. Nobody never meant to be together forever. No machine cyah determine weh me and a woman ago be in life."
