Fast-rising reggae songstress Khalilah Rose, who recently won five nominations in the Linkage Awards, is making major moves.

She has inked a multimillion-dollar deal with US-based eyewear company Yeroc, which is owned by Jamaica-born fashion mogul Corey Woods.

The deal, said to be worth in excess of J$20m, will see Khalilah representing Yeroc for the next two years.

According to Woods, Rose will be the new face of Yeroc.

"I'm extremely impressed by Khalilah. She's a wonderful talent. Her influence is rapidly growing in the West Indian market in the US, and that's an area we want to tap into in a very huge way. Khalilah is also very big on fashion. that's why I have chosen to work with her. For the next two years she will be the new face of the company, and by next fall we will launch the Khalilah Rose line of glasses, and she will be featured in a number of promotional campaigns as we target several markets with this new line. This move will enable us to push the Yeroc brand in the Caribbean market in a very huge way," said Woods.

Rose said she was excited about the deal as she looks forward to a fruitful relationship with Yeroc.

"Yeroc is a highly reputable eyewear brand that is famous for its trendy glasses, that are extremely popular among US celebrities including Beyoncé, Amber Rose, P Diddy and Kanye West, and I'm really excited about working with them. This new venture will help both Yeroc and myself to explore new opportunities. I expect a lot of great things to happen with them," said the artiste.

Khalilah Rose is wrapping a major project being produced by Ed Robinson for Sony Red.
