Why do lovers close their eyes when kissing? |
|||||
|
Dear Pastor, Here are my thoughts on the topic: why do lovers close their eyes when kissing? 1. Closing the eyes when kissing is a reflex action. 2. Also, if objects get close to the face or eyes, one tends to blink. Kissing is no different. It brings two faces so close, hence the eyes close as a protective measure, and better yet, emotions may create a smoothing feeling so automatically one closes the eyes. 3. The brain cannot focus when the tongue is swirling around or kissing. 4. Otherwise, instincts take over. One closes the eyes when listening to good music, dancing, hugging, kissing, etc. L. Dear L., Thank you for your thoughts. They are always welcome. I trust that you keep well. Please write again. Pastor
