broken hose lands two in jail |
|||||
![]() Two persons who were involved in a dispute that emanated from water spilling from a broken hose on thursday had their bails extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court until November 12. Charged with common assault is Denise Innerarity, while George Gordon is charged with assaulting female. Gordon explained to Resident Magistrate Lorna Shelly-Williams that Innerarity was the aggressor. He said on the day of the incident, she threw water on him from behind while he was washing his car and he instinctively pushed her away. Gordon said he had given permission to a boy to wash his van, but the boy later realised the hose had a leak and informed him. He said he tried to fix the leak immediately, but Innerarity became enraged after seeing her floor wet. Gordon claims Innerarity cursed an expletive and later said, "Watch weh mi goin' do with you." Gordon said he was later doused with the water. |
