Probe launched into Tarrant High stabbing |

SHELDON WILLIAMS, STAFF REPORTER An investigation is under way by the dean of discipline at Tarrant High School to find out who stabbed a grade 11 student on Wednesday. The boy had to get stitches at hospital for wounds to his mouth and forehead. cleared of wrong doing Interim principal Esther Tyson told our news team that another student who was originally thought to have inflicted the wounds has been cleared of any wrongdoing. "We thought it was done by another student who was recently enrolled from another school," she said. The police have also collected statements from students. It is unclear if anyone will be charged. SSP Fitz Bailey, head of The St Andrew Central Police Division was unable to elaborate on the issue. "I can't comment on that because I don't have the knowledge," he disclosed. |
