Sean Edwards' Contractor Music Marketing will again sponsor Irie FM's live coverage of the upcoming Penn Relays, which will run from April 24-26 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Penn Relays, one of the world's largest and most successful track and field events, will again grab the interests of many local athletics-craved fans following the exploits at the recently concluded Boys and Girls' Champs.

It has attracted an annual turnout of 15, 000 or more participants from high schools, colleges, and track clubs throughout North America and abroad.

For the second time running, Edwards, who uses the moniker Contractor, will partner with Irie FM to help broadcast the meet via its radio station.

For his involvement, Contractor, who does music marketing for Kingston-based music company Downsound Records (DSR), will use Ninja Man's Jamaica Town hit single as the theme song during the aforementioned period.

Ninja Man, who is signed to DSR, has seen an upsurge in his music career since he joined forces with the label. He has recorded other very catchy melodies, but none have so far impacted the market like Jamaica Town.

The song, according to Contractor, has an infectious and catchy hook, thus making it an easy pick to use as a representation of the Jamaican athletes participating in the mogul event.

"Ninja's Jamaica Town is the perfect track to represent the athletes in Philadelphia a few days from now. It was an easy pick, and I am much honoured to have the chance to again help highlight the growth of the island's track and field prowess on a world scale," he said.

Contractor also recently sponsored Irie FM's live broadcast of the ISSA Boys and Girls' Champs where Calabar High and Edwin Allen High emerged as victors.
