M7 Events has announced that on Sunday, the lifestyle entertainment group will be hosting Marbana at Frenchmen's Cove in Port Antonio, Portland.

M7 Events is the team behind SPF Weekend in Ocho Rios, Soiree: Christmas Eve, and Soiree: SPF.

Marbana will feature musical selections by DJ Kurt Riley, DJ Jazzy T, and Trinidadian sound system Nuphoric. Marbana is drink-and-food inclusive.

Speaking about the event and what it will entail, M7 Events told The STAR, "Portland is Jamaica's old Hollywood Mecca for lifestyle entertainment, and M7 Events has found it our duty to showcase what the parish has to offer in 2014, with Marbana. Whether you're a lover of soca, dance, reggae, dancehall, or hip-hop, we will ensure that your musical tastes will be catered to, as we believe that Jamaica's Carnival Season does not have to be genre specific."
