Dancehall artiste Frassman and female deejay Spice have teamed up for the collaborative effort titled 'Mama Papa'.

The slamming dancehall track was produced by NS Music Enterprise LLC and Banky Hype. It is the follow-up to Frassman's latest single Go Down And Wine, which has been burning up the airwaves.

In a media release, Frassman revealed how the collaboration with the Jim Screechie deejay came about.

missing something

"When I got the riddim from Banky Hype, I recorded the song Mama Papa but I felt it was missing something. So we decided to seek out a female deejay to complement the track. The first artiste that came to mind was Spice," Frassman explained.

He added: "The concept of the song was perfect for her. So we then put the wheels in motion to get in contact with her. We reached out to fellow artiste/producer Ratigan from BMG (Brixton Music Group) studio in Portmore because of the affiliation they have with Spice. We sent the track over to her via BMG, as she heard it she was ready to record."

a smash hit

Obviously pleased with the finished product, Frassman predicts that the song could become a smash hit.

Frassman has been riding a musical tear in recent months. He set the stage afire at the recently held DJ Norie show in Manhattan, New York. Two Fridays ago, he hosted and performed at the Fantastic First Fridays third anniversary at Vibes Uptown Hall Side in Hartford, Connecticut.
