JB WataWar to bring wild fun to MoBay

The promoters of the popular JB WataWar water party are looking forward to another successful staging of the event.

The party, which was first held as part of the popular Britjam Spring Break party series in 2012, has become one of the biggest events in Montego Bay.

"JB WataWar was first held in March of 2012 during Britjam at Cornwall Beach and it was an instant hit. The following year it was even more successful than the year before. JB WataWar is now one of the top parties in MoBay. Based on our ticket sales this year we are going to have another successful event," said a spokesman for the event.

JB WataWar will take place on Monday, April 21 at Cornwall Beach in Montego Bay. This year's event will feature a very interesting theme as the promoters of the event have decided to revisit Hurricane Gilbert.

"JB WataWar is known for fun and excitement. Every year we try our very best to give our patrons interesting and exciting themes. Staging an event of this nature requires a lot of creativity and innovative ideas. This year, we plan to give our patrons something special, believe it or not, we are going to recreate Hurricane Gilbert. There will be a lot of water and special effects, the whole venue will be transformed to look like there's a real hurricane going on. It's going to be wild and fun," he warned.

The JB WataWar will feature a number of popular DJs including DJ Jigga, Crazy Neil, DJ Absolute, DJ Kentucky, DJ Tippy and Mackie and Gemini.

"Once again, we have selected some of the best DJs in Western Jamaica to provide the musical juggling for the patrons. with a line-up this good we guarantee that the patrons will get good quality entertainment, plus there will be lots of water, and we will have top quality bar and restaurant service. We are inviting patrons to come out early and get wet and have a lot of fun at JB WataWar on Easter Monday."

Start time for JB WataWar is 4 p.m., admission is $1,000 presold and $1,500 at the gate. JB WataWar is a drink inclusive event.
