After a six-year hiatus from Reggae Sumfest, Busy Signal was in top form as he reeled through his extensive catalogue of hits, keeping the audience on its feet and singing along on Dancehall Night.

The event saw one of the biggest crowds in the two-decade history of the show with thousands of local and overseas patrons converged at Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex, Montego Bay.

Backed by High Voltage Band, Busy Signal delivered a commanding set, deserving of accolades. The platinum-selling artiste was greeted by screams from patrons as he entered the stage with Watch Out Fi Dis (Bumaye). Launching into older hits including Nah Go A Jail Again, Picante, Fresh From Prison and Step Out, Busy Signal managed to earn a 'forward' for every track. He segued into recent songs such as Professionally, Hustlers In The Streets and Miss You.

No sooner had the band struck up the instrumentals for Busy Signal's cover of Bedroom Bully, he was joined on stage by a female dancer from the audience. So seamless was her transition into his set that many believed their dancing routine was planned.

"It wasn't planned, it wasn't rehearsed, but mi appreciate it. I don't know her name, or anything, but big up yuhself and nuff respect. Trust me, she gwaan good," Busy Signal stated.

The artiste is promoting new singles including Bou Yah aka Vampire Teeth, Everybody Move, Corruption and Mek Di Mmm ... Jump. He is also gearing up for the second half of his European Tour, which will lead into his tour of Africa.
