Last Saturday's staging of Guinness-sponsored Bembe made Kirkvine, Manchester, the place to be.

Patrons came out in numbers to enjoy all-inclusive Guinness, live performances by Capleton, Biggaton, Gage and entertainment by some of Jamaica's finest selectors, DJ Kentucky, Fire Links and Bad Ras.

Bad Ras started the party with reggae mixes from the 80s, 90s and popular alternative hits.

DJ Kentucky and Fire Links showcased their famous turntable skills with the latest dancehall hits. Songs such as Louis V and Broad Daylight by Vybz Kartel had patrons dancing.

To top off the night, Capleton came to the stage to cheers and jubilation, minutes after 5 a.m. The 'fireman' performed hits such as Jah Jah City and Nuh Stop Wi, that had fans raving and dancing up a storm.

The high-energy entertainment did not end there, but continued with a female dance competition between two dance groups, Nitro Girls and Kandi Crush.

The event was well attended and consumers were, indeed, pleased with Guinness stout flowing all night. Patrons were provided with branded buckets and crates while they partied.

"It is always a pleasure to provide patrons with memorable and unforgettable experiences where they can enjoy themselves while consuming our products," said Racquel Nevins, Guinness brand manager, Red Stripe.
