Star Tell Me Pastor

My wife keeps 'bubbling' on men
Dear Pastor,

I enjoy reading your column. My wife is Jamaican and she introduced your column to me. I have a little problem with her - she flirts too much. Whenever we go to parties, she is the first one on the dance floor and the guys like to dance with her. She 'wines' a lot. She says that she is not wining, she is dubbing. She is also saying that the guys may think that she is inviting them to have a relationship with her but I need not worry because when she is dubbing I am right there. But why does she have to dub when they are playing certain songs and inviting women to give it to them? My wife can't give me a straight answer.

I do like to see my wife dance but sometimes the guys go wild when she lets go. Pastor, you are doing an excellent job. When you laugh on your show it is contagious.

E.D.

Dear E.D.,

I suggest that you learn to dub too. In that way you can dub with your wife and not have to watch other men dance with her. I suspect that you get jealous as you see these men carrying on with your wife. But as she said, you know she is not doing anything out of order, you just don't like it.

Perhaps out of respect for you, your wife should stop dancing in that manner with other men in your presence. Don't allow what is happening here between the both of you to bring a strain on your relationship. Your wife doesn't mean any harm, and you know that you should try to bring your jealously under control.
