The Music Industry Achievers Awards has announced Monday, August 25, 2014 as the new date for the much-anticipated event.

The event will be held at the Courtleigh Auditorium, with the walking of the red carpet at 6 p.m and the show beginning at 7 p.m. sharp as originally scheduled.

"I am elated to announce Monday, August 25, 2014, as the new date for the Music Industry Achievers Awards. Everything will continue as originally scheduled, and I hope to see everyone in attendance," said Nackesha Doyley, CEO and founder of the awards.

The Music Industry Achievers Awards, which was originally scheduled for Thursday, July 10, 2014, was forced to be postponed due to undisclosed reasons.

"I was forced to postpone the event due to personal reasons. I was grief stricken after making the sudden postponement, but my hands were tied," said Doyley. "As the premier event, everyone is trusting that we deliver a top-class event, and I am happy to say that we are on top of our game."

She expressed deep gratitude to all her supporters, sponsors, and performers for being understanding and supportive.

"I wish to thank you all again for the continued support - my sponsors, my ambassadors, my performers, everyone really - and also special thanks to my phenomenal team."
