When persons get to a certain age it is usually expected that they start thinking about settling down - you know, getting married and starting a family. For most men, this time is around their late 30s. After all during his late teens and 20s is when he has all, his fun, engages in one-night stands, and sows his wild oats. Now he's at the age where he is trying to find that special woman to make that commitment with - his potential wife. But what does a man look for in a wife?

What makes a woman wife material? Well, before I get into any detailed stereotypical description of a typical "wife", let me disclaim that I recognise that tastes are different and not every man wants the same thing. The fact is, for the most part, there are a few foundation expectations:

Domestic Skills - Yes, it is 2014 and men still expect their wives to be domestic queens, wash, cook, clean, all that jazz. His wife is expected to fall into this role, either directly, or to supervise the process if they get help.

Nurturing Skills - Parenting is a part of the package with a wife because most persons expect to have children when they get married. Outside of the children, he wants to know that she can take care of him if he is sick and be supportive.

Physically Attractive - Physical appeal is always important. I don't think I have to explain that in any more detail.

Good with Money - A man wants to know that his wife can manage the money, especially since she will have access to it. Women are usually good at budgeting and so this is a definite plus.

Freak (Just enough) - Lady in the streets and a freak in the bed: Today, sex is so adventurous, it seems everyone wants to try new things. So, having a wife who can add some excitement to his sex life is a definite adventure for him.

I know that these expectations have varied levels of importance for individuals. The best advice I could give is to be honest with yourself first. Too many persons try to pretend to be someone else in order to secure a spouse and then realise much later that the charade is impossible to maintain. The position of wife means different things to different people because persons get married for various reasons. These reasons help to shape the overall expectations that they have, so find the wife that you want.

It is hard to convince your conservative husband that you want to express yourself sexually so start by doing things that he and you will enjoy together. If he enjoys that, then add small gestures at a time. Instead of getting completely naked in fron of him, start with just the legs and work your way up. Ensure he participates so he can feel more comfortable each time you try something more.
