Dancehall artiste Macka Diamond delivered a great performance at a special 4-H Club event held at New Hope Primary and Junior High school in Whitehouse, Westmoreland on Sunday.

She performed crowd favourites such as Hula Hoop, Cowfoot, but her biggest forwards were reserved for 2013's big dancehall hit, Dye Dye. She performed the song for at least three minutes because the many patrons just couldn't get enough as they bubbled in the crowd and sang along: 'the love ah sweet mi whoa!!!!'. Then Macka Diamond showed her versatility by flipping the script to do the Dye Dye song in Spanish to numerous forwards from the enthusiastic crowd.

She then called on fellow artiste Unicorn to do their hit, Think Bout Mi and the delightful, witty interplay of lyrics between the two deejays got the crowd's attention.

Macka Diamond continues to do well in the US as her Dye Dye hit remains a staple in the dancehall. Over the weekend, Macka Diamond performed at an event at the Lux nightclub in Orlando where she performed alongside comedian Majah Hype.

She is now turning her full attention to the promotion of her latest single and video, the controversial Karma for Marcus Records.

"Well, I have been turning up things from Jamaica to the US. Big up mi street team in Jamaica, dem tell me how all the Monday through Thursday parties got shelled by Karma and Cowfoot. Big up radio land. Me deh far out and still hear how Karma and Cowfoot a shell all radio. Nuff love to all disc jockeys, especially Big A and Sunshine, who giving Macka Diamond the strength," she said.

She is booked to appear on shows in New York in August and a nightclub show in Florida in September. You can followMackaDiamondon Twitter @mackadiamond1 or @one876. She can be contacted for bookings at 874-3900.
