Reggae singer Tom Laing is all smiles as his hit single Belly of the Beast, featuring Capleton, continues to claw its way up the charts.

The hard-hitting single, released in May, is sitting in the No. 2 spot on the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.

In New York, it is No. 8 on the Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Music Chart.

In South Florida, it's No. 17 on the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.

The New York-based singer, originally from Trench Town, is pleased with the success of the single.

"I'm very happy with the success of this song; so far, it has done a lot to expose me in a number of different markets around the world," he said.

The video is also doing well, sitting at No. 6 on both Suzie Q's Video Ally and the Pree Dis chart, which it topped several weeks ago.

Tom Laing will release a remake of the Gregory Isaacs classic, Front Door.

"This track will be out next month. The video for it is also ready for release," said Laing, whose album, Street Teacher, will be out early next year.
