Upcoming producer Christian Sasso, otherwise known as Sasso or Sasso Don, is planning to step out of the box of dancehall and reggae genres and sample other kinds of music.

Sasso, who says he has been in the music business since high school, released his first song in 2011, titled Flossing Heights.

Sasso is now focused on producing. "I am still learning. I am new to producing, so there is still a whole heap more for me to learn," stated Sasso.

Since late last year, Sasso says he has worked with dancehall artistes Sean Paul, Tifa, Assassin, Konshens, Kalado and Supa Hype, among others, to produce the D-Stress rhythm that was released last June.

The rhythm has so far garnered a lot of attention, playing on a number of local radio stations, including ZIP 103 FM, Fame 95 FM and Hitz 92 FM. He also stated that the rhythm has taken centre stage at street dances.

The producer also said that feedback from the public and artistes that he has worked with have been good.

"I've been getting a lot of feedback. People calling from all over the world, even for dub plates," he said.

In the not-too-distant future, Sasso plans on working with Popcaan and Assassin in an untitled project. He also has plans for a Chi Ching-Ching and Ding Dong collaboration.
