The judges commended T'Rizzy on an amazing performance of Meat Loaf's I Would Do Anything For Love.

Attempting to put their best Rockstar alter egos on display, some of the top-five contestants in the Digicel Rising Stars fell flat, while others rose to the occasion. The rock theme was evident in their attire, but not in some of their lackluster performances.

Up first was JL, who sang Train's Hey Soul Sister. Though the judges thought that the song choice was more Pop than Rock, they commended him for consistently delivering each week.

Alaine, who had brought JL back into the competition, and who had earlier announced her departure from the competition for a African tour, commended her wild card on his performance.

"JL, you are my boonoonunus. You are cute and nice and sweet and very easy to like. Your voice is not a powerhouse, but I felt the connection," she said.

"That was more of a pop song. It was pleasant and well suited to your voice. You didn't embarrass yourself," Anthony Miller stated.

Up next was Lionel Williams, and as before, he did not escape Miller's wrath. Performing Break Even by The Script, Williams' pitchy performance led Miller to state that he did not 'rate' him as an singer.

"Somewhere in the middle of your performances each week, you kinda lose it," judge Conroy Wilson noted.

Denyque, who will be taking Alaine's position's at the judging table, also agreed. "You started out nicely. The song is very hard to sing, it overpowered you, but it was still a fair job," she said.

Having established himself as the forerunner in the competition, T'Rizzy once again delivered an amazing performance, but had a few glitches while singing Meat Loaf's I Would Do Anything For Love.

"That was a bonified rock ballad. You made a mistake. You are the front runner, but you can't become complacent," Miller stated.

"That was amazing. You messed up on the lyrics, but you didn't let it get the best of you," Denyque said.

After getting mixed reviews for their performance last week, Young Kings tried their best to redeem themselves.

"It's about rock, energy; it's about being slightly risqué. People will like it. I liked that energy. The deejay has big talent, the singer sounds like an annoying fly, and I wish he would just buzz off," Miller told the duo.

Alaine agreed, adding that they had pitch issues throughout the performance.

Seemingly saving the best for last, Sarai Lee Moodie gave an energetic performance of Kelly Clarkson's Stronger.

"You are fighting for the crown. You are getting better each week. Congrats," Wilson stated.

"You are starting to deliver, you did well tonight," Miller commended her.

The night ended with a performance from Keznamdi.
