Dear Pastor,

Greetings! I know you are in the best of health but I am not. Right now, so many things are happening but I am hoping for the best. I am praying and singing everyday but the God I believe in is not answering my cry. My husband inflicted wounds upon himself twice and went to the police station and had them lock me up. I went from jailhouse to courthouse. He also took out a restraining order against me. He got me arrested and I went to court and the case was thrown out.

He is trying many things to get me out of the house. Only the good Lord knows all my troubles. I am living like a pig. I cry everyday. Right now, he has nailed up the two front doors and I have to climb through the window to go on the veranda.

Nobody in authority listens to me because my wicked husband told them that I am a madwoman. I speak the truth when I say that he is a child molester, a liar and a thief. God made him confess about what he did to my daughter when she was 8 or 9 years old. And he also confessed that he loves when little girls goggle his testicles because big women can't do it well. I didn't know that he was that kind of person. He pretended that he was such a good man but in 2011-2013, I found out so many dirty things about him.

Right now I feel so depressed. He purposely allowed JPS to cut off the light and he also tried to cut off the water but I turned it on. He cut off some of the pipes in the house. He barricaded one side of the house where I walk. I have to walk at the back while he uses the front. He can't sell the house because I put a caveat on it.

He tried to sell the house last year for $8 million. He told the lawyer that he is not married. The lawyer was shocked when he found out he was married, so he told him I am to get 50 per cent of what the house was sold for. My husband told the lawyer I am not getting a cent so he took away the papers and went to a female lawyer and now he said that that lawyer said that when she is finished with me I will be getting nothing. I don't have a lawyer because I don't have any money. Lawyers are charging big money. I have my spousal rights but I can't defend it.

I am self-employed but my husband has damaged some of my belongings. I am really going through a rough time but I am really holding on to God. If someone had told me that I would be having so much trouble at my age, I would have told them no way.

I took him to court last year for maintenance and the judge ordered him to pay a certain amount of money. He wasn't paying so I took him again and he said he is not paying anymore. He owes me a lot of money. Everyone says I should leave him to time. My husband doesn't believe in time and God. He said that the Bible should be burnt and there is no God. He is a devil worshipper and he believes in obeah and the obeah woman gave him certain passages from the Bible to read everyday. Pastor, please try and help me. Legal Aid told me I must make a deposit of $14,000.00 before they can help me.

Dear S.C.,

Try your very best to get that $14,000 that the Legal Aid Clinic has told you to bring to them. You might have to borrow it from close relatives. You should because eventually you will receive justice and when everything is over, you will get what you are entitled to, and will be able to repay the person or persons who gave you the loan.

I know that you are suffering but you need not be afraid of your husband. He doesn't believe in God but you do and God is not dead. He hears and He sees and He will answer your prayers and give you victory. Don't give up. That's all I have to say right now.
