Forty-eight-year-old Merna Edwards of Matthews Lane, Kingston, has been missing since Tuesday, September 2.

She is of brown complexion, medium build and is about 150 centimetres (4 feet 11 inches) tall.

Reports from the City Centre police are that about 7 p.m., Edwards was last seen on Beckford Street in Kingston and has not been heard from since. When last seen, she was dressed in a black blouse, denim jeans and a pair of black shoes. Several subsequent efforts to contact her have so far proven futile.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Merna Edwards is being asked to contact the City Centre police at 922-9335, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
