No Bail for man accused of cutting his brother
A man who is accused of cutting his brother due to the outcome of a game was remanded when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court last Friday.

Charged with assault occasioning bodily harm is Daniel Harris of a Kingston address.

The complainant told the court that his brother cut him on his arm with a knife over a game. He said his brother started teasing him and they had an altercation, which escalated into a fight.

But Harris told the court that the reason he cut his brother was because he was disrespectful to his girlfriend.

"The reason him get the cut is because me hear seh him lick me girlfriend with the iron and true me get ignorant, me come out back and cut him," he explained.

Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey quipped, "I'm gonna have to cure you of the ignorance. You need some time to cool off."
