Man charged for false bomb scare
Twenty-eight-year-old Yuhan Winter, unemployed of Albion, St James, has been charged with causing public mischief after he caused a bomb scare at the campus of the Caribbean School of Nursing, University of Technology in St James Thursday.

Reports from the Barnett Street police are that about 10:55 p.m., a call was allegedly made to the campus to inform them that a bomb was on the roof and it would be detonated in five minutes. The police, fire department and other emergency services were summoned. On their arrival, the area was searched however, nothing was found.

Winter was subsequently arrested and charged. He is expected to appear before the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday, September 25.

Investigations continue.
