Taking dancehall by storm is Vagan

Clarendon-born entertainer Shaquille 'Vagan' Simpson, is only 19 years old but already showing he has the potential to stake his claim musically.

Vagan told The Star that his career is doing good so far and can only get better.

"Right now, the music is doing well and the video for the single Dynamite will be shot," Vagan said. He said that he has released other songs, such as Bottle Party, Good inna Yuh Clothes and Don't Kill The Babies.

He told The Star that he writes the lyrics for his song and he is inspired to do more positive tunes.

In addition to recordings, he has performed at Guyana Yankee All-White Boat Cruise and recently at Aidonia and Friends in Highgate, St Mary.

The former Central High School student said that his interest in music started in school. "I was in the music club and performed at school concerts or other such activities," Vagan said.

The man who said he is inspired by Aidonia and Vybz Kartel, said he intends to be a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
