The car that slammed into the retaining wall in the parking lot of the Lee's Food Fair Supermarket on Red Hills Road yesterday.

A motor vehicle accident claimed the life of an elderly woman along Red Hills Road, St Andrew, yesterday afternoon.

Dead is 92-year-old Ethlyn Foster.

Reports are that the woman, who was driving a white Toyota Starlet, lost control of the vehicle, hitting a retaining wall in the parking lot of the Lee's Food Fair Supermarket on Red Hills Road.

She was rushed to hospital and was pronounced dead.
