West Indies Women all-rounder Shanel Daley has labelled her recent rise to second on the ICC Women's one-day international all-rounder rankings as among her best achievements in the sport to date. The former ICC Women Twenty20 number one rated bowler was elevated to third on the one-day all-rounder rankings, which was released by the sport's governing body recently.

The move was after fairly good returns in the recent four-match one-day series against touring New Zealand.

The 25-year-old, who bowls left-arm spin, and bats in the middle, claimed four wickets at 24.00, at an economy rate of 2.86, and made 46 runs, including an innings of 29 not out at an average of 46.00.

"It's right up there with when I topped the Twenty20 bowling rankings," said Daley.

"It's also the highest I have been ranked in the 50-over format, which means a lot, and makes me want to work even harder."

Daley, a senior member of the West Indies' unit, also shared that come November, she will be looking to make an impression during the regional women's tour of Australia.

"I am really looking forward to the upcoming tour of Australia, providing I am selected," she said

"I want to do well overseas, as one of my aims is to top all the rankings, if possible, or at least remain in the top five in the world for a long time."
