High gear set for 'Stone Ginger Wine Nice Time'

Supreme Promotions is gearing up to host the first staging of its retro party and live show, Stone Ginger Wine Nice Time. According to promoter Isaiah Laing, patrons are guaranteed to get their money's worth plus extra.

With performances from iconic reggae singers in the four-the-hard-way segment, such as Leroy Sibbles, Dennis Walks, Ernest Wilson and Silver Tone, Laing is intent on delivering a clean and classic entertainment package.

The event will be held this Sunday, October 19 at The Police Officers' Club, 34 Hope Road and according to Supreme boss Isaiah Laing, it will be clean and classic entertainment.

"This event is something that I had in mind for a long time. People need a place where they can receive entertainment in safety and just let loose and have a nice time. Monday is a holiday so people can come out and party and then rest on Monday," Laing told THE WEEKEND STAR.

Stone Ginger Wine Nice Time will also feature the likes of some of Jamaica's top disc jocks including Digital Chris, Sky Juice, DJ Ray and Metromedia.

Encouraging

Avid retro music fans who appreciate music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, may purchase tickets for Stone Ginger Wine's Nice Time at Total New Kingston, York Pharmacy Half-Way Tree and Petcom Dunrobin. Presold tickets are being sold at $800. However patrons who opt to pay at the gate will be charged $1000.

The seasoned events organizer, also stated that the event might take the shape of a series, if the support for this staging is encouraging.

"Part proceeds from this event will go towards the Police Federation because they are really in need of the support," Laing said.

Patrons who turn out on Sunday will also receive goodies courtesy of LIME as well as bucket deals on Stone Ginger Wine. Other sponsors include CVM TV, Hype TV, MDTV, Mega Jamms and Khool FM.

"These DJs might be old school, but I can guarantee that once that good music starts playing, persons will enjoy themselves," A confident Laing told The WEEKEND STAR.
