Chuckle Berry, Luciano get Real Life success

Dancehall artiste Chuckle Berry is all smiles as his single, Real Life, with reggae singer Luciano, continues to enjoy great success. The thought-provoking track, produced on a remake of the classic reggae rhythm called Pick Up the Pieces, recently topped DJ Gusma T's Reggae Singles chart in Italy.

"I am extremely happy with the success of this single, it's doing well all over the world," said Chuckle Berry.

The video is also doing well, it recently topped the HYPE VTX Top 10 Countdown for a total of three consecutive weeks. According to the producer, Chris 'DJ Chris' Serre, the single has helped to bring his Toronto-based New Brand Music imprint a significant level of exposure.

"This song has brought my label a tremendous amount of success. I am very happy with the response. DJs all over the world are giving it a lot of support. Based on the feedback that we are getting from people on Facebook and Twitter, the song is doing well in a number of places, including Jamaica, Canada, Italy, Germany, Russia and Spain. This will help to pave the way for other projects from our label," said Serre.

Also on the rhythm are songs from a number of other popular reggae and dancehall acts, including Sizzla, Bugle, Anthony Malvo and Delly Ranx. The Canadian producer has a number of other projects in the pipeline.

"I'm getting ready to drop a new single with Chuckle Berry and Luciano called Rude Boy. This song will be released before December. After it's released, I plan to drop the Pretty Looks rhythm compilation album," he revealed.
