After 13 years, the Shorts Circuit event, has established itself as one of the most enjoyable and exciting parties on the entertainment calendar. From the event's inception, Jamaica's coolest beer Red Stripe has been a strong supporter.

On Heroes Monday, Pier One, Montego Bay, will come alive with another exceptional instalment. Expectations are high on the list of the many patrons gearing up for this event.

Promoter Andre 'Pnut' Brown said there is great anticipation around the event and Red Stripe's title sponsorship will add an exciting dimension.

"Red Stripe is a fun, hip brand and fits perfectly with a party like Shorts Circuit, which is known for good times and vibes. We will be bringing international DJ J Diggz to add a different flavour. There will be more to see, more to do and more to enjoy," said Brown.

Red Stripe will be using this platform to further introduce its new Red Stripe cans, which have caught on well at large gatherings and productions.

"This will be our first year that we will be introducing cans. Short Circuit has been a very good conduit for introducing our new variants. Last year we did Red Stripe burst, the year before we did Red Stripe Light Flavours, and this year is Red Stripe cans. Each year is something special," said assistant brand manager, Red Stripe, Toni-Ann Reid.

Brown indicated that Montego Bay should benefit immensely. He made mention of many local businesses, such as hair and nail salons, clothing and jewellery stores, that have communicated their gratitude for the overwhelming support they receive during this time from patrons, due to the staging of Shorts Circuit.

There will also be on-site vendors who will benefit.

The event will also feature Ricky Teetz, DJ Nicco, Crazy Neil, Insomniak and Liquid. Limited cabanas available.
