The Ministry of Labour says there will be a further delay this month in the payment of benefits under the Programme of Advancement through Health and Education (PATH).

Earlier this week, the ministry said the payments would be made yesterday, instead of Wednesday.

However, in a release yesterday morning, the labour ministry says beneficiaries of the programme will now receive the payments today.

According to the ministry, the delay is due to adjustments being made to the PATH benefit structure.

There are more than 300,000 persons on PATH.
