Court date set for accused scallion thief

A trial date has been set in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court recently after a man pleaded not guilty for uprooting a complainant's scallion.

Omar Brown has been charged with praedial larceny.

The Crown alleges that on September 23, the complainant went to his farm and saw the accused man uprooting his scallion. He made a report to the police and Brown was arrested and charged.

He is to return to court on November 4 for trial into the matter.
