Cameroon national to be deported

A removal order has been granted to a Cameroon national who overstayed his visit to the island.

Manfred Besame has been charged with overstaying.

The Crown is alleging that Besame entered the island on October 25, 2011 and was to stay until January 23, 2012. However, in 2014, Besame was still in the island.

The removal order was granted in court recently.

Besame was ordered to pay $5,000 or serve 30 days in prison.
