Police launch killer manhunt
The St James police have launched a manhunt for gunmen responsible for the shooting death of three people and the injuring of another, in the Canterbury community of Montego Bay, St James, on Sunday evening.

Dead are 67-year-old Nesline Young of upper King Street, 24 year-old Everald Wesley, also of upper King Street, and 38-year-old Heron Foster of Rosemount district in the parish.

Information reaching THE STAR is that about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, all four were at a shop on King Street when a grey motor vehicle approached.

Reports are that two men emerged from the vehicle and opened fire hitting the four before escaping. THE STAR gathered that one of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were taken to hospital where two died while undergoing treatment.

The lone survivor remains hospitalised in serious but stable condition. Our news team was told that no motive had been established for the killing. Investigations are ongoing.
