A one-year-old infant was crushed to death by a motor truck last Friday evening. Dead is Navaro Moss of Gazeland district, Nain, St Elizabeth.

According to police reports, the driver of an Isuzu MPR motor truck was in the process of reversing along the roadway, when the infant was ran over by the truck.

The police were alerted and Navaro was taken to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. Investigations continue.
