I'm destined for greatness

Reggae singer, Hezron, is confident that his name will one day be listed among the greats in the annals of reggae music.

The easy-going singer who has been described by many industry insiders as one of the best new voices in reggae, is banking on the success of his recently released debut album, called The Life I Live(d).

The double CD, released in May by Tads Records, features some of his best works to date including his lovers' rock hits, Forever & Ever Always, Take Your Clothes Off, So In Love, Can't Come Between and Two Places featuring Shaggy.

The Life I Live(d) also showcases the sensational singer's more militant side with songs such as Inna Di Ghetto, Hussle Haffi Gwaan, Road Block, Needy & the Greedy featuring Mutabaruka and the monster hit Can't Tek Di Pressure.

According to Hezron, The Life I Live(d) has caught the attention of music lovers worldwide.

"The album has been getting rave reviews from industry insiders and fans all over the world. It's getting the kind of response we had anticipated that it would receive and for this I am very grateful," he said.

The first single off the album was the effervescent Check, which topped a number of reggae charts, both locally and abroad. The video for Check, which was released last month, is enjoying heavy rotation on a number of television stations, including HYPE TV, RETV, and CVM Plus.

Hezron is getting ready to drop another single off the album. "So far, Check has done very well, the fans love it. The next single I plan to release off the album is called Land Of The Warriors. It will be officially released before the end of November," said the artiste.
