This Friday, the University of Technology will be host to hundreds of adolescent partygoers as the popular Potential NRG event heads to the Student Activity Centre (Barn).

The event is being touted by the organisers as one of the most exciting events on UTECH's entertainment calender.

This, the 'Throwback' edition, is to bring a twist to the usual Potential NRG party atmosphere.

ÒThis Friday UTECH's Barn will we abuzz with excitement when Potential NRG takes over. The event always delivers so this staging will be more of the same.The last couple stagings were successful and patrons know that so they are always looking forward to the event. Friday everything will be in order and ready to have another sure shot event," said Jason Palmer, Entertainment Coordinator for The School of Engineering.

Coppershot, DJ News, DJ Murkuri, and DJ Skippy will be tasked with keeping the musical vibes high throughout the night.

Admission to the event costs $300 presold for females, with a 3-for-1 special before 11 p.m. on presold tickets. Men will pay $400 presold. General admission (at the gate) costs $500.

"The DJs on the lineup will definitely bring the vibes and patrons can expect nothing but real fun, good vibes and a great entertainment package come Friday. The response of prospective patrons leading up to the event has also been great," said Palmer.
