Three killed in Bog Walk

The Pineapple Lane community of Bog Walk, St Catherine, is still reeling from a triple murder that occurred about 11 a.m. yesterday.Those killed are Alva McKenzie, Maltie Taylor and a man known as Patrick.

The killings have left residents asking "who's next".

"This have to stop; it is straight wickedness as innocent people are the victims; we are tired of the killings," a female bystander said.

Her views were echoed by other persons who said that the wave of violence has led to confusion and hopelessness.

"Bwoy, from di shooting up a the site last week di place turn ghost town, and dis only make it worse. People a run weh, business down a pure tings," a resident of Bog Walk said.

Meanwhile members of the St Catherine North Major Crime Task Force along with other personnel have blanketed the area.

The police confirmed that Cummings and McKenzie were coconut vendors.

It was revealed that Taylor was the target of the deadly attack.

It has been confirmed that the Bog Walk area has been a hotbed of crime which has resulted in several murders, rapes and robberies.
