Suspect named in shooting incident
Detectives attached to the Kingston Central Police Division have listed Javaughn Warren, otherwise known as 'Kadeen', as a person of interest in relation to the shooting incident on Monday night, which left three children injured.

Warren is from Oxford Street, Kingston 14. Investigators say they are still pressing on with their probe into the shooting as they seek to bring closure to the case. It was revealed that the 15-year-old and seven-year-old females, who are sisters, were walking in the vicinity of Church Street and North Street when they were pounced upon by a group of men who opened fire at them.

A third minor, a 15-year-old male, who is believed to be one of the gunmen among the group, was shot and injured by his cronies during the crossfire. The minor, who remains in hospital under police guard, is expected to be charged by detectives later this week.

Meanwhile, the police are urging Warren to visit the Central Police Station immediately. Anyone knowing his whereabouts is being asked to contact the Central police at 922-5076/922-4089, police 119 emergency, or the nearest police station.
