Stacia

New Blaza Music Group artiste, Stacia, announces her inclusion in the upcoming reggae compilation, 'Golden Kid the Riddim Assassin Reggae Temple Vol 1', to be released next month.

The single is expected to introduce the new reggae diva as the princess of neo-reggae, with a new earthy sound. Stacia has been sharing her talents with the world since childhood.

She played violin as a child, and sang on her school choir. Now an accomplished background vocalist, Stacia has worked and learnt from various of artistes and producers in the music industry.

"My music has been influenced, in some way, by some very influential persons such as, Bobby 'Digital' Dixon, Arrested Development, Richie B, Dionne Farris, Matthew McConaughey and Mishka, to name a few, but Blaza Music Group has taken the raw product and refined my sound and image."

According to Blaza Group CEO, Daffilous Thompson, "her current project pleasantly reflects her soulful yet delicate style. She has a soothing sound which is like no other, a kind of pleasant surprise, that will make you want more."

Often referred to as acoustic soul and even neo-reggae, Stacia has opened for artistes such as Maxi Priest, Luciano, Marcia Griffith, Beenie Man, Lady Saw and more.

Stacia resides in Atlanta, Georgia where her soulful and sultry sound has been heard at the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards with hip hop icon Nas, the Sweet Auburn Festival of Atlanta, Unite the People Festival in Montego Bay and the annual Red Green and Gold Affair in Bronx, New York.

Stacia has also captivated audiences at performances in the Georgia World Congress Centre, the Grog Shop, and the Agora Concert Hall.
