Fast-rising dancehall artiste Konfydence wants to clear the air regarding her recently released single Tell Lie Pon Busy.

The hard-hitting single, released about four weeks ago, has been enjoying heavy rotation on top local radio stations. However, Konfydence is a bit concerned that some members of the public have misconstrued the lyrics and the title of the song.

In the chorus, Konfydence deejays: "Me tell di most lie pon busy. Mi nuh ramp fi tell lie pon busy. Me tell di most lie pon busy."

Konfydence said a lot of people have been asking her why did she diss Busy Signal. "It's so weird, I can't believe people think my song is dissing Busy Signal. If they listen the song carefully, they will realise that I am not dissing him. The song is about how I always tell people I am busy in order to avoid unwanted situations," she said.

"Besides, I would never do a song dissing another artiste, especially someone who I respect. I just want the public to know that I am not that kind of artiste. I always keep things positive."

The talented beauty who hails from Clarendon is busy in studios working on a number of projects under the watchful eyes of her manager/producer Jimmy Ricks of Insight Records.

'I have a lot of new songs in the works, some of these songs will be released around Christmas time," said Konfydence, who recently released the video for Tell Liepon Busy.

Konfydence will perform at LIME Full Black on Saturday at the LIME Golf Academy, New Kingston. "This will be my second appearance, and I plan to give the patrons something to remember," she said.
