Hardcore deejay Kip Rich will headline tonight's Clarendon Ting stage show in May Pen.

According to show promoter, Celcius, the Nuh Behaviour artiste will share the stage with Merciless, Gage, Don Mafia, LA Lewis, Tanto Blacks and Gaza Kim.

The promoter, anticipating onstage lyrical feuds among performers, insisted it was not a clash event, but rather a party show. He, however, conceded that the strong line-up of artistes, with a history of clashing, is a recipe for an outbreak of lyrical confrontations.

"Let me set the record straight, Clarendon Ting isn't a clash show, but an event for patrons to come and enjoy themselves in a party atmosphere," Celcius said.

"However, there are numerous unsubstantiated claims that artistes are coming for each others' head at the show. What I do know, is that the Seven-Star General, LA Lewis, has called for Tanto Blacks' head and, you done know, May Pen a no play pen, a Merciless place, so artiste going to run out on him."

Some confirmed acts have made it clear they will be on the show to kill other artistes, lyrically.

"None a them boy deh cant tan up in front a me. Clarendon Ting a Celcius thing, so a come me a come fi done the show," Don Mafia told THE STAR.

"Kip Rich and who, Merciless? You will see when me run out pon them Friday night!"

Deejay Bomb-A-Drop, describing Gage as a lyrics thief, said he has been longing to catch him and other artistes to 'Kweng' them.

Friday's show will also feature a number of selectors including Country Tiger, Mad Ras, Ricky Trooper, Terminator, dancers Sample 6, Shabba Moschino and various other local acts.
