'Life of a Star' an expected success

Popular promoter Conroy Samuels says his annual birthday party, Life of a Star, will be a most memorable experience for the many expected patrons come tomorrow, November 1.

The event is set to take place at Chris It Up Car Wash in High House, Old Harbour, St Catherine. It will be the fourth staging of the well suported event and Samuels, known to most as Overdose, said he is working tirelessly behind the scenes as the days draw closer.

The Overdose Entertainment boss said: "Everything is already set, and this year's event will be the best yet. The entertainment will be of its highest quality, so I am just waiting for the big day to come."

Lydia, a loyal supporter who resides in Old Harbour, said she has always enjoyed going to Samuels' events, which also includes a monthly pool party and annual cookout, organised by Overdose Entertainment.

"Mi always enjoy myself at Conroy party dem. Mi already sort out mi outfit fi him birthday celebration cause mi know it ago nice," she said.

Music will come from the likes of Richie Feelings, Chub Roc, Mad Ras, Johnny Bravo and Mama's Boy. The event is free and is being sponsored by RumBar and Boom Energy Drink.

There will be special attractions such as a Hookah Lounge, sumptuous finger foods, vodka shots from RumBar and gift baskets from Boom and Sexy Stop Boutique for the females.
