A heated dispute between brothers, allegedly over land, has left them both with chop wounds and has landed one in hospital and the other in police custody.

The incident reportedly happened in the Gravel Hill area of Clarendon in the wee hours of the morning, a resident, declining to be named, stated.

The names of the men have not been released by the police. According to the resident, the older brother is in hospital nursing chop wounds, after almost losing both his legs, while the younger brother has been taken into police custody following the incident.

"The bigger brother get chop up. I don't know if he is going to walk again, to how the foot chop. The last I heard was that he was rushed to theatre (hospital)," the resident said, pointing out that they were using cutlasses.

The Milk River police have confirmed the incident. However, they would not provide details on the reason for the chopping.

An embarrassing footage of a man being physically assaulted by his female lover is being circulated online. In the three-minute clip, a stout-built woman could be seen raining several blows on her thin lover, while he lies helpless beneath her, trying to escape her grasp.

The woman was allegedly beating him because he 'disrespected' her on the road. "Who yah ramp wid?" the woman questioned, while straddling his back. "A big, big disrespect yuh jus gwaan wid! Who is you? Who is you fi a come diss me pan di road" the woman asked angrily while punching him.

She proceeded to ask him for his cellular phone, which he attempted to hide from her. "Leggo offa me, weh di phone deh?" she asked the man while he attempted to slip from beneath her.

While attempting to laugh off his shame, he asked, "weh yah try do? Show me up in front a me fren!" to which she responds, "yeah! Nuh dat me a do!" while his friend, who

doubled as the cameraman, could be heard in the background jeering, "a Facebook dis a go pan and yuh face deh pan dis live!" Another friend could also be heard encouraging the woman to continue her assault on the man, "How yuh mean! Siddung pan him, mek him know a you run tings."

Her response was to use the cell phone to hit him several times in the head. The friend could be heard not only laughing but egging the woman on. "Siddung pan him, Donna, squeeze him throat, shot him a box! Shot him a box, browning," he said.

The man continued to struggle to move but again failed. The woman stated while looking in the camera,"see dis yah phone yah, is mine now!"

The man was finally given some relief when the woman instructed the cameraman to stop the recording. The video has received close to 2,000 shares and more than 110,000 views on Facebook, with many viewers sympathising with the man and bashing the woman and his friends.

"That guy needs to find new friends and find a less abusive woman, not because he is a man - he can be abused too, abuse in any case is wrong," a viewer commented.

Another added: "If it was vice-versa it would've been a huge controversy, domestic violence is never okay, it doesn't matter what gender is doing the violence. I hope he gets out of that abusive relationship."

"That man is a gentleman, if he did box her down it would be the other way around. She dissing him; calling him p. I respect you, Don, run away that big fat ting you have. She's not a real woman," another viewer stated.
