Long-discarded Reggae Boyz striker Ricardo Fuller could be in contention for a spot in the Caribbean Cup squad, as coach Winfred Schäfer continues to weight his options ahead the tournament next month.

The forward signed for new club Millwall in the summer transfer window, but has struggled for form after injury set-backs. Fuller, however, gave glimpses of what he offers to the club at the top of his game when he came off the bench to scoring two goals in 10 minutes against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the championship last weekend.

Millwall manager Ian Holloway revealed that he has been in dialogue with Schäfer about the possibility of the player making an appearance for the national team.

"Jamaica might want to call him up soon and I've had a chat with their national team manager about that," Holloway told UK publication Southwark News.

"I think they saw him come off the bench and score those two brilliant goals against Wolves the other week, and now he's in their thoughts again."

Holloway, however, had concerns about the length of the journey to the Caribbean and the impact it could have on the 34-year-old.

"All that flying might not be good for him and I think Ric himself knows that. He is not ready to fly over there just to come off the bench and play 20 minutes," Holloway said.

Fuller, who has scored nine goals in 73 appearances for the national team, has not suited up for Jamaica's Reggae Boyz for two years, earning his last cap against Panama in June of 2012.
