Reggae artiste Omari Banks says he is ending 2014 on a high note by releasing a collaborative single with Peetah Morgan of Morgan Heritage.

The single, No Point To Prove, was produced by Omari Banks. It is also the lead effort from his upcoming 2015 Move On deluxe edition album.

In a release to the media, Omari spoke of the experience of working with Peetah Morgan. "I've always been a fan of Morgan Heritage Band and Peetah Morgan as a artiste. Their message is one that people can relate to and ultimately that is what my music is about. Peetah Morgan has a voice like no other, and to have the opportunity to do a song with him is nothing short of an honour to work with the great man. His versatility, longevity and ease with which he captures an audience is what I aspire to achieve. Blessed love, Peetah Morgan," he said.

Peetah said the up-and-coming reggae act has restored his faith in the future of the genre. "Working with Omari Banks gives me assurance that reggae music has truly become global. Omari represents reggae music, island music in high fashion. I am always honoured to collaborate with artistes from different parts of the world. Omari is a very talented artiste with a very bright future," he said.

The single will be available on all major digital platforms on Friday. However, the remastered deluxe edition album with bonus tracks will be released in early 2015. To share in the debut of the single with his worldwide fans, Banks' management, in an unprecedented move, will premiere the single and supporting video at a live-stream concert.
