Dancehall artiste Gage is seeking to remedy the malicious work of scam artists plaguing his career. According to the 'Throat' deejay, persons are targeting fans through Facebook and other social media outlets.

"This is not a good look, people are using Facebook and the Internet to book shows for me without my consent. Right now I see some shows that I won't be attending because I was not contacted through the right channel," explained Gage.

The artiste also said dub plates are being circulated and sold to sound systems that are fake.

Not original

"I want all sound systems to know that if you receive a dub plate and you don't get a 15-second video with it from me, then it is not original. I film a 15-second video will all my dub plates now," Gage said.

"The only person for bookings, is my manager at 1-876-529-8715. My apologies to people who got robbed, yu zimi, but call this number for all Gage inquires," Gage said.

The artiste is gearing up for performances in Trinidad among other Caribbean countries. He is also expected to perform at Sting and GT Taylor's Extravaganza.

"Remember, come to Sting for the showdown as well," he said hinting at a potential clash at this year's Boxing Day show.
