Jamaican a suspect of double homicide in T&T

A Jamaican is among four men who have been fingered as possible suspects into the gruesome killing of an elderly German couple in the island of Tobago last Saturday.

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Newsday, "police said within recent times they have had reports that a Jamaican, who goes by the alias 'Gunta,' a Guyanese, and two Trinidadians have been robbing persons and breaking and entering homes in Tobago, and that these four may be responsible for the murder of the Germans".

Seventy-one-year-old Bridget and her husband 74-year-old Hubertus Keil were found hacked to death at a secluded area on Bacolet Beach in Tobago last Saturday morning.

The German nationals, who entered the country on October 25, owned a vacation home just a stone's throw away from where the mutilated bodies were found, they were scheduled to leave the island sometime in March of next year.

According to reports, the couple's death moves the murder toll to seven for 2014 in Tobago.
